Game of Thrones Season 3 Starts Soon

Looking forward to the new season?

So many people are looking forward to the third season of Game of Thrones starting on the 31st. Of course I’m looking forward to it as well. Game of Thrones is probably one of the biggest things on TV lately. HBO has the amazing ability to take something that was a geeky fantasy novel series and turn it into a popular, mainstream franchise. Half of me hates them for being able to do that but the other half absolutely loves being able to watch the show.

So with little less than a week until the new season of Game of Thrones, I wanted to use this Video Monday Post for some Game of Thrones parodies. First up will be “How Game of Thrones Season 1 Should Have Ended”… which I chose because I figured by now we should have all seen season 1 but maybe not everyone has finished up Season 2 yet so I don’t want to spoil anything. The HISHE series over on YouTube is absolutely hilarious if you haven’t seen them before.

After that will be “School of Thrones” which is a great re-imagining of the Game of Thrones world in a modern High School setting. All of the important characters are there as either students or faculty and the war to take the Iron Throne is replaced by the politics of becoming Prom King and Queen. You can also check them out on the School of Thrones Facebook Page. The series just started about two weeks ago but the third episode has been labelled a “season finale” so there is some speculation about when or if further episodes will be made.

How Game of Thrones Season 1 Should Have Ended

If you didn’t laugh your ass off and agree wholeheartedly then there is something wrong with you. :P

And for those of you who are fans of, or have a significant other who is a fan of, The Lizzie Bennet Diaries… Yes, Sansa is Lydia Bennet.

Thanks for Stopping in…
